Tester agreement
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This agreement is between you and the developer of Cortex, based in Jordan ("we", "us"). It applies when you test Cortex: when you use a tester key, or when we make your account a tester. The terms of use apply too.
you get new versions first and everything unlocked. In return, keep what you see private until it's public, and tell us what breaks.
What you get
Every feature unlocked while you're a tester, the Tester label on your account, and new versions before everyone else. Testing is free and voluntary. It isn't a job, and neither of us owes the other money for it.
What stays private
Versions and features that aren't public yet, what we tell you about plans, prices and names, and anything we mark as private. Don't share them, post screenshots or recordings of them, pass on installers, update files or keys, or show them to anyone else, unless we say yes in writing. This lasts until we make the thing public, or two years after you stop testing. It doesn't cover what you already knew, what's already public through no fault of yours, or what the law makes you disclose.
New versions are rough
Test versions can crash, lose data or behave strangely. Keep copies of anything important, don't rely on a test version for work you can't redo, and don't use test versions to act for real customers without checking everything first.
Feedback
Tell us about problems and ideas, with Send feedback in the app. We may use your feedback, ideas and files to improve Cortex, without paying you or naming you. We never publish your personal details or your files.
Ending
Either of us can end your testing at any time. You then go back to the version and plan everyone else has. Part 2 keeps applying.
Law
The laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan govern this agreement. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws where you live.
